It’s a comfort knowing that a highly skilled team of nurses and assistants are under the same roof. Should your needs change, we are prepared to take care of you right here. In our Rehab we will hold you up, just like when you first got on a bike, and we won’t let go until you are ready to pedal on your own again. In our Long Term Care we know that sometimes you just need to get off the bike and take a rest, we understand that too and will be here for you. We’ll have you back to whistling Dixie in no time.
At the Fireside Restaurant our Windsor Court residents can choose from one to three meals a day – it is your choice. If you don’t want a big meal, then join us in our Café and have a snack or light meal. Heather Court, Elizabeth Court and Ivy Court residents have three meals a day included in their rent. Some of our residents’ favorite dishes are prime rib, pot roast, salmon, baked tilapia and BBQ ribs.
Our residents enjoy the luxury of being driven to any activity or appointment within 15 miles.* Transportation is available Monday through Friday. Group transportation is offered several times a week for grocery shopping and other trips at no cost for Cottingham residents. We have two buses that hold 14 passengers each. (*minimal fees may apply)
On-site rehab is available for physical, speech, and occupational therapy. Every resident receives a thorough evaluation and individualized program.
Cottingham’s Wellness Clinic offers Primary Care Physician services by Dr. Pawel Szczykutowicz, Podiatry Services by Dr. Keith Norman, and Psychology Services by Dr. Suzanne Norman. Our on-site Home Health Agency offers a complimentary Blood Pressure Clinic and Blood Sugar Checks. Just like the name, this tavern features a beautifully wood carved back bar and lots of seating. You’ll enjoy having a few cocktails and laughing with friends. Social hour is every Wednesday and Saturday which includes wine, beer, and appetizers.
The indoor pool is used regularly. You’ll always find someone just relaxing or getting in a little exercise. The whirlpool is soothing and refreshing. Memberships are available to people outside of our community age 65 and up for use of the facilities. Contact us for rates and availability.
The greenhouse is an area loved by all and features a large variety of plants that our residents have potted and nurtured. Everyone loves to play in the dirt and look out the atrium windows that offer a beautiful view of the courtyard.
Full service salon offers men’s and women’s hair styling for shampoo, haircut, permanent wave, manicure, pedicure, waxing, and color.
Our library has many books and DVDs for the residents to borrow on the honor system. You can also enjoy the daily paper that is delivered every morning or join our once-a-month Book Club. The Public Library offers “books to your door” once a month. In our computer lab we offer a magnifier for reading along with two WOW computers with internet access and easy to read monitor and keyboard.
Every Sunday, Protestant services are offered at 2 pm.
Every Saturday evening a Catholic mass is offered at 7 pm. Bible Study is offered every Wednesday evening at 7:15 pm. Communion is offered every Wednesday at 11 am. Every Tuesday afternoon at 3:30 pm Cottingham Chorus rehearses in the Chapel. They perform for the residents regularly. Our Gospel Singers rehearse in the Chapel on Wednesday at 1 pm.
Open Monday through Friday 9 am to 3 pm, Saturday 11 am to 2 pm and Sunday/Closed. Sandwiches, Daily Specials, soups, ice cream, candy, soda, water, assorted snacks – another place to sit, relax, and see a neighbor or two. A lot happens in our Sharon Room. The competition can heat up when our groups get together for a game of chair volleyball. It’s sure to get your heart pumping and lots of laughs! We have history presentations, current events, Towne Hall meetings, Friday night movies on our big screen TV, and so much more!
Enjoy this room all week long; it is always open. Classes are offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays for a variety of projects such as card making, art classes, jewelry making, ceramics, crochet, and knitting.
Indoor walking trail! Walk around our second floor 5 times and you have walked a mile! Say hello to friends and neighbors as you go!
Boy, where do we start, there are so many! There’s something going on all the time and lots of outings to places like Belterra Park, Findlay Market, Cincinnati Museum, Cincinnati Ballet, Playhouse in the Park, and more. Just check out our Facebook page and you’ll see all the fun.
What man doesn’t love tinkering with wood and our woodshop keeps them active with lots of fun projects.
The courtyard is enclosed within the center of our building and is a nice, quiet area to take in some sunshine. You might even catch a glimpse of our resident hummingbird and her new babies.

This is a popular room! The guys love to play billiards and we have plenty of card games to choose from such as Bridge, Euchre, Bingo, 500, Pokeno, Rummikub and more! Black Jack Games are on Friday evenings at 7:15 pm in the Tavern.
Plenty of workout equipment to choose from including Nustep, which is easy to use and a low impact workout that helps you achieve the outcome you are seeking. Work out while watching your favorite show on the flat screen TV.
Our Fireside Lounge is a place to sit and socialize by the fireplace, or to meet up with friends before going into dinner. You can listen to your fellow resident play a song on the piano or stop by most Thursday nights for live entertainment!
